Description

Serve this distinctive entrée and create excitement on your breakfast menu.

Ingredients

1 1/2 lbs. Breakfast Builders™ Pre-cooked Scrambled Egg, thawed
3 cups Scrambled Selections™ Light and Fluffy Texture Liquid Egg Blend
2 lbs. Bulk Pork Sausage
1 lb. Cheddar Cheese, shredded
2 cups Milk
20 slices Sandwich Bread, crust removed
1 tsp. Dried Sage
1 tsp. Dry Mustard

 

Preparation

  1. Brown sausage in skillet. Drain and crumble.
  2. Mix liquid egg, milk, sage, and mustard.
  3. Prep a 2" deep half hotel pan with pan release.
  4. Layer 1/3, bread, 1/2 sausage, 1/2 pre-cooked scrambled egg,and 1/3 cheese. Repeat for 2nd layer.
  5. Lay last layer of bread on top, then pour liquid egg mix over top evenly. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
  6. Sprinkle rest of cheese over top and bake covered with foil in a 325˚ F oven for 90 minutes.
  7. Uncover; bake an additional 20 minutes or until golden brown on top.
  8. Let rest 10 minutes before serving.
