Description
Serve this distinctive entrée and create excitement on your breakfast menu.
Ingredients
| 1 1/2 lbs. | Breakfast Builders™ Pre-cooked Scrambled Egg, thawed |
| 3 cups | Scrambled Selections™ Light and Fluffy Texture Liquid Egg Blend |
| 2 lbs. | Bulk Pork Sausage |
| 1 lb. | Cheddar Cheese, shredded |
| 2 cups | Milk |
| 20 slices | Sandwich Bread, crust removed |
| 1 tsp. | Dried Sage |
| 1 tsp. | Dry Mustard |
Preparation
- Brown sausage in skillet. Drain and crumble.
- Mix liquid egg, milk, sage, and mustard.
- Prep a 2" deep half hotel pan with pan release.
- Layer 1/3, bread, 1/2 sausage, 1/2 pre-cooked scrambled egg,and 1/3 cheese. Repeat for 2nd layer.
- Lay last layer of bread on top, then pour liquid egg mix over top evenly. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
- Sprinkle rest of cheese over top and bake covered with foil in a 325˚ F oven for 90 minutes.
- Uncover; bake an additional 20 minutes or until golden brown on top.
- Let rest 10 minutes before serving.
