Coalition for Sustainable Egg Supply (CSES)

Cargill Kitchen Solutions one of several founding members in the Coalition for Sustainable Egg Supply (CSES) – a group which includes leading animal welfare scientists, research institutions, non-governmental organizations, egg suppliers, food manufacturers, restaurant/foodservice and retail food companies that are working to better understand the impact of various laying hen housing systems on a sustainable supply of eggs.  Together, we believe we need a balanced and holistic approach to evaluating egg production in areas including environment impact, food safety, worker safety, animal health and well-being, and food affordability.
